Anthony, Sam: If we ever become a band i think we should be called “The Awesome.” OK?

Anthony, Sam: Si nous avons besoin de devenir un groupe je pense que nous devrions être appelé “The Awesome”. OK?

We just ended one of the finest weeks Montreal has ever brought us. Anthony Froger joins the (ever expanding) list of people we have met and just fallen in love with instantly. He is a friend of MAX the Cat – our absent flatmate – from his “France” days, and was visiting from mentioned country and ended up  living with us for a week.

Nuit Blanch was an especially amazing night.

A “Nuit Blanch” is what the french, so beautifully, call an “all nighter”, and in montreal, as with many other places around the world, they hold a big festival type thing, with free art and movies and music and techno rave parties and ultimite frisbee contests and… you name it…. tango lessons… the list goes on and on. Infact there were over 100 events on over the course of one night and WOW what a night it was. We – Sam, Anthony, Cyril, Philippe and I – went art scoping and techno dancing and short film watching and finished the night off with a walk up Mont-Royal to watch the sunrise. (although UP is a bit of an exageration) It was spectacular. Our walk home through golden skies and eggs for breakfast in our sun filled kitchen followed by all of us hunkered down in the lounge for movies,  it was the perfect end to an Awesome night.
